It's difficult for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have long been mastered.

We're talking about the unit that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, along with another six T20 titles, and once went nearly four years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the record chasers, are what's still available for a side that has accomplished all there is.

The fact it required up to Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the last half-century.

By the time she was dismissed Australia required another 66 at run per delivery - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I am glad we have the confidence to achieve that now," continued Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it again but, should it happen, we believe we can succeed."

That comment will be the final thing rival teams at this World Cup need to hear.

Over the past five days a belief they will win from any position has grown stronger - this victory succeeding win against Pakistan by 107 run margin despite being 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with old rivals England in Indore in 10 days, by which point a semi-final berth may probably be guaranteed.

It was at that stage they exited last year's T20 World Cup in a surprising setback by South Africa - a match Healy missed because of torn tissue in her foot as she guided Australia for the initial instance at an important competition.

Such is her determination, she afterwards commented she regretted not playing through the pain.

However although she later admitted those injuries have pushed back plans to retire, this championship is expected to be her final tournament as skipper in ODI cricket and she is yet to win a world championship as skipper.
