Outrage as Beloved South African DJ Shot Dead in Johannesburg.

A renowned South African radio and club DJ has been shot dead in the metropolis of Johannesburg, triggering widespread grief across a country battling rampant crime.

Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was shot and killed in the city centre on Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the 40-year-old presenter was approached by three individuals, with one opened fire on him before escaping on foot.

Police said that Stock was attacked as he was departing from a building in the vicinity of the Carlton Centre.

The DJ tried to run away after he was hit but fell down on the opposite side of the road.
