Actor Rejects Anti-Vaxxer Views After Narrating Disputed Covid Documentary

The "Taken" star has given his voice to a feature-length documentary that questions the efficacy of immunizations and praises ex- cabinet secretary RFK Jr.

The Feature's Provocative Basis

Titled "Plague of Corruption," the documentary is based on a well-known publication published by a disgraced researcher, who became famous during the health crisis for assertions that Covid was caused by a problematic version of the flu vaccine.

Her co-author, the executive producer, has penned books with controversial radio host the Infowars host. The producer wrote online praising Neeson's role in the documentary.

A Strong Statement

A spokesperson for Liam Neeson have issued a statement pushing back against implications that he supports anti-vax beliefs.

"Many recognize that corruption can exist within the medical sector, but that should never be confused with opposition to vaccines," the comment states. "He has never been, and is not, against vaccines. His considerable work with the global charity underscores his enduring support for worldwide vaccination initiatives."

The response continued that the star did not shape the documentary's narrative and that inquiries about its claims are best addressed to the filmmakers.

Key Assertions In the Documentary

According to the documentary, the narration provided by Neeson makes several provocative claims:

  • It claims that pro-immunization voices have called for "unconditional submission" to government bodies.
  • It posits that "research has become dangerously politicised."
  • Kennedy is featured saying, "The major issue with vaccines is that they just aren't adequately tested."
  • It further attacks Covid lockdowns, claiming they caused mental anguish that cost thousands of lives.
  • On the topic of the immunizations, it mentions a report that they were "hurriedly approved" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Previous Background and Recent Issues

The documentary also references a historical film about clinical trials on children, which was afterwards the focus of a correction by the corporation for editorial breaches.

Last month, RFK Jr directed the Centers for Disease Control to alter its official position that there is no link between immunizations and autism. This supposed link is echoed in the documentary, despite a recent study from the World Health Organisation confirming no evidence has been found.

A Previous Position of Endorsement

Contrasting the film's tone, Neeson has formerly shown clear advocacy for vaccines in his capacity as a charity ambassador.

Two years ago, he called vaccines as "an extraordinary triumph," noting that "The conversation about vaccines in recent years has forgotten how much good they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest collective achievements in history."

The documentary finishes with Neeson's voice saying, "This isn't the finish of our journey. It is the dawn of a different phase."
